Probe team binuo, sisilipin ang tax records ni Comelec Chair Andres Bautista
Bumuo ang Bureau of Internal Revenue ng isang grupo na susuri sa tax records ni Commission on Elections chair Andres Bautista.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II, layon ng grupo ng mga tax probers na alamin kung posibleng tax liabilities si Bautista, na inakusahan ng kanyang misis na may mga tagong yaman.
Dagdag pa ni Aguirre, iimbestigahan din ng BIR ang asawa ni Bautista na si Patricia at iba pang nakatransaksyon ni Andres maging bago pa siya maupo sa COMELEC.
Pamumunuan ni Regional Director Glen Geraldino ng Revenue Region 8 ang investigating team. Kasama niya sina Regional Director Manuel Mapoy, at Revenue District Officers Bethsheba Bautista, Petrolino Fernando at Isabel Paulino.
Matatandaang inakusahan ni Patricia si Bautista ng pagkakaroon ng cash deposits at iba pang ari-arian na hindi niya idineklara sa kanyang Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth o SALN.
