Sinuspinde ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board ang Uber sa loob ng isang buwan, simula ngayong araw, August 14.
Inutusan din ng ahensya ang naturang transport network vehicle service na ihinto ang booking operations habang suspendido ito.
Inirekomenda naman ng LTFRB sa Uber na bigyang ayuda ang apektadong peer-operators nito.
Matatandaang inilunsad ng LTFRB ang crackdown laban sa libo-libong colorum Grab at Uber operators.
It also “strongly recommended” that Uber gives financial assistance to its peer-operators who would be affected since the latter “would not have suffered the current predicament were it not for the predatory actions of respondent Uber”, ayon sa pahayag ng LTFRB.
Ang nasabing kautusan ay nilagdaan ni LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra III at ng mga miyembro ng board.
