Shortlist ng susunod na AFP chief, nakumpleto na ng Board of Generals
Isusumite na ni Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang shortlist ng Armed Forces of the Philippines Board of Generals na maaring pumalit sa babankantehing pwesto ni outgoing Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año.
Ayon kay Lorenzana, ito ay dahil sa nakabuo na ng shortlist ang AFP Board of Generals ng listahan ng mga pangalan ng mga heneral.
Ayon kay Lorenzana, nagpulong na ngayong araw ang AFP Board of Generals.
Kinakailangan aniyang agad na maisumite na sa pangulo ang listahan para makapag-assume na si Año bilang kalihim ng Department of Interior and Local Government.
Sa Oktubre pa sana magreretiro si Año subalit minamadali na siya ng pangulo na maupo bilang kalihim ng DILG.
Una rito, sinabi ni AFP Public Information Office chief, Colonel Edgard Arevalo na pawang mga major service commanders and kandidato sa pwesto ni Año.
