Malacañang hugas-kamay sa pag-abswelto ng Court of Appeals kay Napoles
Iginagalang ng Malacañang ang naging desisyon ng Court of Appeals na nag-aabswelto kay Pork Barrel scam queen Janet Lim Napoles sa kasong serious illegal detention na isinampa ng kanyang pamangking si Benhur Luy.
Pero pagtitiyak ni Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, hindi hihina ang kasong plunder na kinakaharap ni Napoles dahil sa pagkakamal ng pera ng gobyerno mula sa pork barrel funds ng ilang mga mambabatas.
Ayon kay Panelo, walang sweetheart deal ang gobyerno kay Napoles.
Ito ay kahit na ang solicitor general na ang humirit sa Court of Appeals na ipawalang sala si Napoles.
Gayunman, naniniwala si Panelo na credible witness pa rin si Luy dahil mayroon naming corroborative documents at witnesses na iniharap ito sa hukuman.
