“Dying to work again”.

Ito ang naging pahayag ni Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos para sa kanyang kapatid na si dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na natalo sa katatapos na vice presidential race.

Ayon kay Governor Imee, nabuburyong na umano ang nakababatang kapatid dahil mag-iisang taon nang walang trabaho ang dating senador.

Sa ilalim ng batas, hindi maaring italaga sa anumang posisyon sa gobyerno ang talunang kandidato sa loob ng isang taon.

Nabatid na kasama si Governor Marcos sa delegasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa state visit sa Middle East.

Hindi naman direktang sinagot ng opisyal ang tanong kung napag usapan na nila ni Pangulong Duterte ang posibleng pagtatalaga sa gabinete sa dating senador.

Matatandaang una nang lumutang ang pangalan ni Marcos na posibleng italaga sa Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) kapalit ng nasibak na si dating Secretary Mike Sueno.
