Fighter plane ng China, namataan sa South China Sea

South-China-Sea-e1396033265567Namataan ang isang fighter plane ng China sa islang okupado nito sa South China Sea na siyang unang deployment na nakita ngayong taon ayon sa isang U.S. think tank.

Ayon sa Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative (AMTI), bahagi ng Center for Strategic and International Studies ng Washington, ang naturang J-11 fighter ay nakita sa satellite image na kuha noong March 29 sa Woody Island ng Paracel island chain.

Inaasahan na ilalahad ni Trump sa pakikipagpulong nito kay Chinese President Xi Jinping sa Florida, ang isyu kaugnay ng militarisasyon ng mga outposts at pag-angkin ng China ng mga teritoryo sa South China Sea.

Ayon kay AMTI director Greg Poling hindi malinaw kung gaano nagtagal ang naturang fighter plane sa isla.

Wala pang komento ang Chinese embassy sa Washington kaugnay nito.
