Pangulong Duterte, itinalaga si Usec Catalino Cuy bilang OIC ng DILG
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Catalino Cuy bilang Officer in Charge ng naturang departamento kapalit ng nasibak na si dating Interior and Local Government Secretary Mike Sueno.
Effective immediately ang pagkakatalaga kay Cuy.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, mananatali sa puwesto si Cuy hangga’t wala pang napipili ang pangulo bilang bagong kalihim ng DILG.
Ayon kay Abella, itinalaga si Cuy bilang OIC Secretary ng DILG para masiguro na magiging maayos ang serbisyo ng kagawan.
“Usec Cuy will hold the position to ensure the continuous and effective delivery of services of the Department until the President appoints a new Secretary,” ani Abella.
Si Cuy ay dating Davao City Police Office Chief at naging Special Action Force Chief bago maganap ang Mamasapano encounter.
