Mga opisyal ng NPO pinahaharap sa imbestigasyon ng NBI

Pinahaharap na ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa kanilang pagsisiyasat ang mga isinasangkot na opisyal ng National Printing Office (NPO) hinggil sa dobleng pagpapa-imprenta ng P74 milyon halaga ng document forms ng Social Security System (SSS).

Base sa subpoena na pirmado ni NBI Deputy Director for Intelligence Vicente de Guzman, kabilang sa ipinatawag sa imbestigasyon si Engineer Rolando Calauag, dating officer in charge ng National Printing Office (NPO) at si NPO Director Francisco Vales.

Pinadalhan din ng subpoena ang mga dating miyembro ng NPO-Bids and Awards Committee na kinabibilangan nina Atty. Sherwin Prose Castaneda, dating chairman; kasama ang iba pang executives na sina Ma. Cristina Morales, Michelle Japson, Benedict Sagun, Amado Valsorable, BAC Secretariat members na sina Teres Tobias, Dina Badua, Winon Balmores, Wilma Delansig, Federico Israel Ramos III at Jennifer Tomas.

Itinakda ng NBI ang imbestigasyon sa April 3, 2017, dakong alas-2:00 ng hapon.

Kaugnay ito sa pag-aaward ng P74 milyon kontrata sa Best Forms Security Printer, Tri-Print Work at Metro Color Company kahit ito ay una nang ibinigay sa Western Visayas Printing Corporation.
