Motion to quash ni Senator De Lima, hindi muna isasailalim sa pagdinig ng korte

de-limaHindi na isasailalim sa pagdinig ng korte sa Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (RTC) ang inihaing motion to quash ng kampo ni Senator Leila De Lima.

Ito ay kaugnay sa isa pang kasong kinakaharap ni De Lima na may kaugnayan sa Bilibid drug trade.

Sa halip na gawin ngayong araw, nagpasya si Judge Patria Manalastas De Leon ng Muntinlupa RTC na i-reset ang hearing sa motion to quash.

Itinakda ni De Leon sa March 3, 2017, alas 8:30 ng umaga ang pagdinig sa nasabing mosyon.

Nahaharap si De Lima sa tatlong bilang ng kasong paglabag sa section 5 (sale) in relation to section 3, section 26 B at section 28 ng Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Si Muntinlupa RTC Branch 204 Judge Juanita T. Guerrero ang may hawak sa Criminal Case No. 17-165 at siyang nagpalabas ng arrest warrant laban kay De Lima, dating driver at boyfriend ng senadora na si Ronnie Dayan at dating National Bureau of Investigation Deputy Director Rafael Ragos.

Si Branch 205 Judge Amelia Fabros-Corpuz naman ang may hawak sa case no. 17-166 kung saan, co-accused ni De Lima si Jose Adrian “JAD” Dera na kaniya umanong pamangkin,

Habang si Branch 206 Judge Manalastas-De Leon ang may hawak sa Criminal Case No. 17-167 kung saan co-accused ni De Lima si dating BuCor Chief Franklin Jesus Bucayu, umano’y bagman na si Wilfredo Elli, dating aide na si Joenel Sanchez, high profile inmate Jaybee Sebastian, at si Dera.

Samantala, maghahain naman ng motion to recall the warrant of arrest ang mga abogado ni De Lima ngayong araw sa sala ni Guerrero para hilinging maibasura at mabalewala ang arrest warrant.
