100 PAL flights, kanselado

Kanselado ang mahigit 100 domestic flights ng Philippine Airlines dahil sa gagawing pag-aayos ng isa sa mga radars ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Ayon kay PAL spokesperson Ma. Cielo Villaluna, bunsod ito nang inilabas na Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) noong nakaraang linggo kasunod ng pag-aayos ng Tagaytay Radar simula March 6 hanggang March 11.

Aabot sa 16 domestic flights ang makakansela sa March 6 habang 18 naman sa March 7 at 8 at apatnapu’t walong flights mula March 9 hanggang 11.

Karamihan sa mga ito ay biyahe sa Manila, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Tacloban at Masbate.

Samantala, nag-abiso naman ang pamunuan ng PAL na may opsyon ang publiko kaugnay dito: maaaring i-rebook ang tickets tatlumpung araw mula sa orihinal na departure date nang walang dagdag na bayad, maaaring kunin nang buo ang ipinambayad sa ticket at magpalipat sa ibang lokasyon.
