Dating Pangulong Benigno Aquino, anim na iba pa, kinasuhan sa Ombudsman

Sinampahan ng reklamo sa Office of the Ombudsman si dating Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III at anim na iba pa kabilang ang mga dati niyang gabinete kaugnay sa umano ay shipment ng $141 billion na halaga ng ginto patungong Thailand.

Kabilang din sa kinasuhan sina dating justice secretary at ngayon ay Senator Leila de Lima, dating Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Amando Tetangco Jr., dating Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Treasury Department chief dealer Lorelei Fernandez at Sen. Franklin Drilon.

Ang reklamo ay kaugnay sa umano ay circular ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) na nagsasaad ng shipment umano ng 3,500 metric tons ng ginto na idineposito sa Bank of Thailand.

Sa inihaing reklamo ni Rogelio Cantoria at Atty. Fernando Perito, dapat umanong maibalik ang gold bars sa BSP.

Sina Aquino, De Lima, Roxas, Tetangco, Drilon at Purisima ang nag-apruba umano ng certification ng shipping noong December 2014.

May kaugnayan ang shipment ng mga gold bar sa kasunduan noon ng Philippine government sa Centennial Energy Company ng Thailand.

Hindi naisapubliko ang nasabing shipment patungong Thailand pero noong June 11,2 016, isang Rolando Polosan ang nag-post sa kaniyang Facebook account ng kopya ng memorandum circular at larawan ng mga gold bar.
