6 na preso patay, 3 muling nahuli kasunod ng Cotabato jailbreak

Patay ang anim na preso na tumakas sa North Cotabato District Jail matapos umatake ang mga armadong lalaki na pinaniniwalaang mga Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF).

Ayon kay Supt. Peter Bongat, Officer in Charge ng North Cotabato District Jail, tatlo naman sa isang daan ang limamput-walong tumakas ang muling nahuli.

Pero hindi masabi ni Bongat kung nasawi ang anim sa pag-atake o sa pursuit operation.

Sa report ng Cotabato Provincial Police Office, isa sa mga pumuga na si Jason Angkanan ang nahuli ng mga barangay tanod ng Amas sa Kidapawan City sa pangunguna ni Bgy. Captain Alexander Austria at ng Central Mindanao Institute and Research Center.

Itinurn-over si Angkanan kay 2nd Lt. Ronnie Golidtem ng 7th Infantry Battalion ng Philippine Army.

Patuloy ang pagtugis ng Cotabato police, Special Action Force at Armed Forces of the Philippines sa mga tumakas na inmates.

Sinabi ni Major General Rafael Valencia, Commander ng 10th Infantry Division, naka-prepositioned na ang air assets ng Eastern Mindanao sa lugar.
