Catanduanes, isinailalim na rin sa state of calamity

Nagdeklara na rin ng state of calamity sa lalawigan ng Catanduanes matapos ang matinding pinsala na naidulot doon ng bagyong Nina.

Sa bayan ng Bato sa Catanduanes unang naglandfall ang bagyong Nina noong alas 6:30 ng December 25.

Sa Virac, maraming puno ang nabagsakan sa kalsada at marami ring poste ng kuryente ang nakaharang sa major roads.

Marami ding bahay ang nawasak dahil sa malakas na hanging dala ng bagyo.

Maging ang mga pananim na palay ay hindi pinagligtas ng bagyo na ngayon ay nagmistulang lawa na matapos bahain.

Nananatili namang walang suplay ng kuryente sa maraming munisipalidad sa Cantaduanes.

Patuloy na ang ginagawang clearing operations, upang maialis sa mga lansangan ang nagkalat na debris, at masimulan ang pag-restore sa kuryente.
