P2 Million na bahagi ng extortion money isinuko ni Wally Sombero sa Ombudsman

Nasa tanggapan na ng Ombudsman ang P2 Million na sinasabing bahagi ng P50 Million extortion money na galing sa gambling tycoon na si Jack Lam.

Sinabi ni Atty. Ted Contacto, legal counsel ni Philippine National Police (PNP) retired SSupt. Wally Sombero na kanilang isinuko sa Ombudsman ang nasabing pera.

Ibinigay umano kay Sombero ang nasabing pera bilang balato makaraang palayain ang ilan sa mga nahuling Chinese nationals na nagta-trabaho sa Fontana leisure park na pag-aari ni Lam.

Ipinaliwanag ni Contacto na gagamitin nila ang nasabing pera sa kasong isasampa laban sa mga dating Immigration Deputy Commissioners na sina Al Argosino at Michael Robles.

Nauna nang sinabi nina Argosino at Robles na P30 Million lamang ang kanilang naisauli kay Justice Sec. Vitaliano Aguirre dahil P18 Million umano ang napunta kay Immigration Intelligence Chief Charles Calima at P2 Million naman ang umano’y hininging komisyon ni Sombero.

Kanina ay sinabi ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente na naiturn-over na ni Calima ang nasabing pera sa Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.

Inamin rin ni Morente na inutusan niya si Calima na imbestigahan sina Argosino at Robles.

Si Calima ay sinibak na rin bilang pinuno ng Intelligence Unit ng Bureau of Immigration.
