Argosino at Robles, malabong ma-reinstate sa BI ayon kay Duterte
Iginiit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na hindi mare-reinstate ang kaniyang mga fraternity brothers sa Lex Talionis na nadawit sa isyu ng katiwalian sa Bureau of Immigration.
Ayon pa kay Duterte, “not one in a million chance” niyang pagbibigyan ang pag-reinstate kina Assistant Commissioners Al Argosino at Michael Robles.
Matatandaang sina Argosino at Robles ay nadawit sa extortion scandal, kung saan sila’y naakusahan ng pangingikil ng P50 milyon mula sa gambling tycoon na si Jack Lam kapalit ng pagpapalaya sa nasa 600 sa 1,316 na Chinese na illegal workers ni Lam.
Ani pa Duterte, iniutos niya ang pag-sibak kina Argosino at Robles, na pawang mga nagtapos sa San Beda College tulad ng pangulo.
