Lalo pang lumawak ang kapangyarihan ni Cabinet Secretary Leoncio ‘Jun’ Evasco.
Ito ay matapos lagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Executive Order No. 09 na lumilikha ng Office of the Participatory Governance o OPG at Strategic Action Response office o STAR.
Ang dalawang bagong tanggapan ay pawang pangangasiwaan ni Evasco.
Ang tanggapan ng OPG ang titiyak na magkakaroon ng direktang partisipasyon ang mga stakeholders na may kaugnayan sa mga polisya at programa na nasa grassroots level.
Ang tanggapan ng STAR naman ang magtataguyod ng response sa mga idindudulog na sentemyento ng taumbayan.
Una rito, itinalaga na ni Pangulong Duterte si Evasco bilang chairperson ng Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council kapalit ni Vice President Leni Robredo.
Bukod dito, si Evasco rin ang nago-oversee sa labing isang anti-poverty office ng pamahalaan tulad ng:
• Cooperative Development Authority
• National Anti-Poverty Commission
• National Commission on Indigenous Peoples
• National Commission on Muslim Filipinos
• National Food Authority
• National Youth Commission
• Office of the President – Presidential Action Center
• Philippine Commission on Women
• Philippine Coconut Authority
• Presidential Commission on the Urban Poor
• Technical Education Skills Development Authority
