Resignation letter ni VP Robredo, naipadala na sa Malakanyang
Natanggap na ng Malakanyang ang resignationl letter ni Vice President Leni Robredo na nagsasaad ng pagbibitiw nito bilang chairperson ng Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC).
Ang liham ay tinanggap ng Office of the Executive Secretary kaninang 9:07 ng umaga.
Nakasaad sa resignation letter ni Robredo na ‘effective immediately’ ang pagbibitiw niya sa pwesto.
Ayon kay Robredo, ginawa niya ang lahat ng makakaya para isantabi ang pagkakaiba nila sa mga isyu ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, pinanatili ang maayos na ‘working relationship’, at epektibong nagtrabaho.
“I have exerted all effort to put aside our differences, maintain a professional working relationship, and work effectively despite the constraints because the Filipino people deserve no less,” ayon sa liham.
Gayunman, sinabi ni Robredo na dahil sa utos ng pangulo sa kaniya na itigil na ang pagdalo sa cabinet meetings ay magiging imposible nang magampanan niya ang kaniyang trabaho.
Mamayang hapon nakatakdang humarap sa media si Robredo hinggil sa kaniyang pagbibitiw.
