Binigla ng Barangay Ginebra ang Rain or Shine sa kanilang unang panalo sa 2017 PBA Philippine Cup na ginanap kahapon sa Mall of Asia Arena.
Natapos ang laban sa score na 81-74 pabor sa Gin Kings upang makuha ang 1-1 standing sa torneo.
Samantala, 2 panalo at isang talo naman ang standing ng Elasto Painters sa kasalukuyan.
Sa kasagsagan ng second half naghabol ang Ginebra sa puntos ng Rain or Shine ngunit dahil sa mga jumpshots nina Joe Devance at Sol Mercado ay nakalamang ang Gin Kings sa fourth quarter.
