PCG, magpapadala ng 2 barko sa Panatag

Tutungo ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa Panatag Shoal upang magsagawa ng “roving inspections and testing the waters.”

Kinumpirma ito ni Department of Transportation Sec. Arthur Tugade kaniyang pahayag sa Malacañang.

Ito’y sa kabila ng sinabi nina National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon at ni PCG Commander Armand Balilo na didistansya pa rin sila sa pagpa-patrol upang maiwasan ang tensyon sa Chinese Coast Guard.

Naniniwala kasi si Tugade na malabo itong mangyari sa ngayon.

Matatandaang nitong nagdaang linggo ay nakakapangisda na ang mga Pilipino sa loob ng Panatag Shoal.

Bagaman naroon pa rin ang presensya ng Chinese Coast Guards, hindi naman na nito hinaharangan ang mga Pilipinong mangingisda.
