Luis Jalandoni nagbitiw bilang chairman ng NDFP peace panel; Fidel Agcaoili, itinalagang kapalit

Jalandoni and AgcaoiliNagbitiw na bilang chairman ng National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) peace panel si Luis Jalandoni.

Bilang kapalit, itinalaga naman ng NDFP bilang bago nilang peace panel chairman si Fidel Agcaoili.

Ayon sa pahayag, tinanggap na ng pamunuan ng NDF ang ‘long-standing’ request ni Jalandoni na magbitiw o iwan na ang pwesto bilang chairperson ng NDFP negotiating panel.

Ayon sa pamunuan ng NDFP, kinikilala nila ang makabuluhang serbisyo ni Jalandoni sa peace efforts ng grupo sa pamahalaan.

Mananatili namang senior adviser ng negotiating panel ng grupo si Jalandoni.

Habang si Agcaoili ay matagal nang naninilbihan bilang Vice-Chairperson ng NDFP negotiating panel bago siya itinalaga bilang kapalit ng nagbitiw na si Jalandoni.

Samantala, itinalaga naman bilang bagong miyembro ng panel si Benito Tiamzon.
