DFA, maglalabas na ng bagong disensyo ng passport na nagtataglay ng dagdag na seguridad

PASSPORTSimula ngayong araw, mag-iisyu na ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ng bagong high-security passport.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office (PCO) secretary Martin Andanar, at siya ring pinuno ng App printing office na nag-iimprinta ng mga passport, nakapaloob sa bagong pasaporte ang disenyo na nagtataguyod ng iba’t ibang rehiyon ng bansa.

Nakalagay din sa bagong passport ang intaglio printing na ginagamit sa paggawa ng pera at coat of arms kung saan makikita ang iba’t ibang kulay sa iba’t ibang anggulo.

May nakalagay din na karagdagang feature sa passport gaya ng microchip na naglalaman ng personal data ng applicant, invisible UV fluorescent ink at thread.

Mas binilisan din ang proseso ng pag-imprenta ng pasaporte ng hanggang 35%. Ibig sabihin, mula sa dating 7 hanggang 14 na araw, kaya nang i-deliver ang passports mula sa printing press patungo sa DFA sa loob ng limang araw.

“The new APO printing system increases the production speed of the new passports to 35%. This means the new passport printing system results to delivery of passports from press to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to an average of 5 days compared to 7-14 days previously,” ayon kay Andanar.
