Traffic rerouting sa paligid ng Batasan, epektibo na
Pinaalalahanan ng Quezon City Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) at MMDA ang mga motorista sa ipinatutupad na traffic rerouting sa Commonwealth Avenue ngayong Lunes, July 25, araw ng SONA o State of the Nation Address ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa abiso ng MMDA, simula alas- 12:01 ng madaling araw kanina, Lunes ay isinara na sa daloy ng traffic ang bahagi ng Commonwealth Avenue.
Apektado ang mga motorista na patungo at galing sa Fairview, San Mateo at Montalban, Rizal.
Dahil sa road closure, inaabisuhan ang mga motorista na patungo sa Commonwealth Avenue, Montalban, at San Mateo at vice versa na maaring gamitin ang sumusunod na alternatibong daan:
– Mindanao Avenue via Quirino Highway o ang Sauyo Road para sa mga motorista na patungo sa Fairview;
– At ang Tumana-Balara Road para sa mga motorista na patungo sa Marikina, Montalban, at San Mateo.
Nagsimula na ring magpakalat ng mga pulis sa palibot ng Batasan Complex bilang bahagi ng security measures ngayong araw.
Kabilang dito ang mga tauhan ng traffic management unit at Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
