PBA, inanusiyo na ang starter players ng dalawang team sa 2016 All-Star Game
Inanunsiyo na ng Philippine Basketball Association ang bubuo sa South at North All Star team na maglalaban sa 2016 PBA All-Star Game sa Araneta Coliseum sa susunod na buwan.
Napiling starter sa South All Star team si Ginebra rookie Scottie Thompson na sasamahan nina veteran guard James Yap ng Star Hotshots, June Mar Fajardo ng San Miguel, Greg Slaughter at Joe Devance ng Ginebra.
Ito na ang ika-labing tatlong beses ng paglalaro ni Yap sa PBA All Star na kapareho ni Asi Taulava ng NLEX Road Warriors.
Samantala, ang North All-Star team naman ay binubuo ng starter na sina Terrence Romeo ng GlobalPort at Calvin Abueva ng Alaska.
Kasama din nina Romeo at Abueva sina Mark Caguioa at Japeth Aguilar ng Ginebra at Marc Pingris ng Star.
Nakatakdang magsimula ang All-Star Weekend sa August 4 hanggang 7.
