Territorial rights ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea, hindi isusuko ni Duterte
Walang balak ang Pilipinas na isuko ang territorial rights sa West Philippine Sea.
Ito ay dahil sa maninindigan ang gobyerno sa naging desisyon ng Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) pabor sa Pilipinas sa isyu ng West Philippine Sea.
Tiniyak ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga opisyal ng Estados Unidos sa ginawang courtesy call ni outgoing US Ambassador to the Philippines Philip Goldberg sa pangulo kasama ang US congressional delegation sa Malacañang.
Kasama ring humarap sa mga bisita si Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana.
Batay sa tweet ni US Senator Chris Murphy na kasama sa mga humarap sa pangulo, tiniyak sa kanila ni Pangulong Duterte na hindi nito isusuko sa China ang karapatan ng Pilipinas sa isyu ng West Philippine Sea, at ang desisyon aniya ng PCA ay non-negotiable.
Sinabi pa ni Murphy na wala ring balak ang pangulo na kausapin ang China.
Bukod kina Goldberg at Murphy, kabilang din sa mga US delegation na nakaharap ni Pangulong Duterte ay sina Senator Brian Schatz, Congressman Ted Deutch, Congresswoman Donna Edwards at Congressman John Garamendi.
