Pitong co-accused ni Alice Guo trafficking case sumuko sa NBI

METRO MANILA, Philippines — Nasa kustodiya na ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang pito sa sinasabing co-accused ni dating Mayor Alice Guo — o Guo Hua Ping — sa qualified human trafficking case kaugnay sa sinalakay na illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub sa Bamban, Tarlac.

Ayon sa ni NBI Director Jaime Santiago lima sa mga sumuko ay nagpunta sa opisina ng NBI sa Central Luzon, samantalang ang dalawa naman ay sumuko sa NBI Task Force Alice Guo.

Sumuko ang pito matapos magpalabas ng arrest warrant ang isang korte sa Pasig City para sa apat sa kanila kung saan nahaharap sa kasong qualified human trafficking si Guo.

Ayon kay Santiago may kinalaman ang pito sa operasypn ng Hongsheng at Zun Yuan, ang dalawang korporasyon na nagpatakbo ng sinalakay na POGO hub sa Bamban.

Paniwala ng pito na legal ang operasyon ng dalawang korporasyon.
