METRO MANILA, Philippines — Bumaba ng 26% ang panukalang pondo ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) para sa 2025.
Ang P45 bilyon na pondo ng DOLE para sa susunod na taon ay mababa ng P61 bilyong sa pondo nito ngayong taon, ayon sa pahayag ng kagawaran nitong Martes.
Ayon kay Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, P34.36 na bilyon sa panukalang pondo ay para sa maintenance and operating expenses, P7.36 bilyon ay para sa personal services, at P3.56 bilyon para sa capital outlay.
Ang mga sumusunod naman ang pondo para sa mga ahensiya na nasa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ng DOLE:
- Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda): P18.50 bilyon
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC): P2.71 bilyon
- National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC): P1.50 bilyon
- National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB): P329.27 milyon
- National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC): P351.21 milyon
- Institute for Labor StudiesP95.56 milyon
Halos P20 bilyon naman ang mapupunta sa mga programa ng DOLE, kasama na ang emergency employment program.
