Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte umapela ng sapat na panahon sa mga Filipino Muslim
Umapela ang Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga Filipino Muslim na bigyan siya ng sapat na panahon para makapagdala ng maayos na kapayapaan sa Mindanao Region.
Sa talumpati ng pangulo sa Mindanao Hariraya Eid’l Fit’r 2016 sa Davao City, sinabi nito na hindi makukuha sa magdamagan lamang ang isang perpektong peace agreement.
Sa tantya ni Duterte, aabutin ng dalawa hanggang tatlong taon bago tuluyang maselyuhan ang kasunduan
“It will not come overnight. Probably, it will be something about two to three years from now, but I assure you something will change before,” – pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte
“Give me a chance to perfect an agreement,” – dagdag pa ng Pangulo
Sa ngayon ayon kay Duterte, sang-ayon siya sa mga probisyon ng Bangsamoro Basic Law.
Dagdag ni Duterte kakausapin niya muna ang MILF at MNLF.
