Hunyo 24: Taal Volcano phreatic explosion naitalâ ng Phivolcs
METRO MANILA, Philippines — Tumagál ng dalawáng minuto ang phreatic explosion sa Taal Volcano kagabing Lunes, ayon sa pahayág nitóng Martés ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Naitala ang pagsingaw ng 9:30 p.m. at ayon kay Phivolcs Dir. Teresito Bacolcol ito ay bunga ng hot volcanic gases.
Sa abiso ng Phivolcs, nilinaw namán na maliít ang posibilidád ng magkaroón ng magmatic eruption sa ngayón base sa naitataláng volcanic earthquakes at ground deformation sa bulkán.

Nanatiling nasa Alert Level 1 ang paligid ng bulkán. Nangangahulugán na abnormal pa rin ang kondisyón nitó.
Mataás pa rin ang pagbugá ng asupre ng bulkán sa average na 7,967 tonelada kada araw simula noong Enero, at bantâ itá sa kalusugan sa mga malalapit na komunidád.
