Luzon power grid na salitan na red, yellow alert ngayóng Lunes

METRO MANILA, Philippines — Sasailalim ng red alert ang Luzon power grids mulâ 1 p.m. hanggáng 5 p.m. at mulâ 6 p.m. hanggáng 10 p.m. ngayong Lunes, ika-27 ng Mayo, ayon sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

At magiging yellow alert ito mulâ sa mga oras na ito: tanghalì hanggáng 1 p.m., 5 p.m. hanggáng 6 p.m., at 10 p.m. hanggáng hatinggabí.

Ayon sa pahayág ng NGCP, ang peak demand sa kuryente ngayóng Lunes ay 11,455 MW at ang available capacity namán ay 12,326 MW.

BASAHIN: Mas mura ang kuryente mula sa nuclear energy – JV Ejercito

Tatlong planta — Ilijan; Pagbilao 1, 2, 3; at San Buenaventura Power Ltd. Co. — ang hindi makapag-bigáy ng kuryente dahil sa Typhoon Aghon.

Gayundin ang Masinloc 3 at Quezon Power Philippines Ltd. Co. —  dahil naman sa mga aberya sa operasyon.

Samantala, nagbawás naman ng operasyon ang Sual 1, Calaca 2, at Masinloc 1 power plants.

Nananatiling nasa normal na kondisyon naman ang Visayas at Mindanao grids, ayon sa NGCP.
