Sen. Jinggoy Estrada inhirit na madagdagan ang kapasidad ng PGH
Hiniling ni Senator Jinggoy Estrada na madagdagan ang kapasidad ng Philippine General Hospital (PGH) hanggang 2,200.
Gusto din ni Estrada na madagdagan ang mga kawani at pagbabago sa serbisyo ng pangunahing pampublikong ospital sa bansa.
Inihain ng senador ang Senate Bill No. 2634 noong Abril 15.
Katuwiran nito umaabot sa 600,000 pasyente ang pinagsisilbahan ng PGH kada taon at ilang dekada nang isyu ang “overcrowding” at matagal na paghihintay ng mga pasyente.
Puna nito, sa magkasunod na insidente ng sunog sa PGH ay muling nagpamulat sa kondisyon ng ospital.
“Investing in people’s health is important in order to provide ordinary Filipinos greater access to world-class and affordable tertiary hospital care,” aniya.
