Pangulong Marcos Jr: Hindi isusuko ang teritoryo ng Pilipinas
Tiniyak ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., na hindi isusuko ang anumang bahagi ng teritoryo ng Pilipinas sa kahit anong bansa.
“I shall never tire of repeating the declaration that I made from the first day that I took office: I will not allow any attempt by any foreign power to take even one square inch of our sovereign territory,” sabi ni Marcos sa kanyang talumpati sa Parliament of Australia ngayon araw.
Naging bahagi ng kanyang talumpati na ang Pilipinas ay nasa “frontline” sa lahat ng hakbangin na gagambala sa kapayapaan, katatagan at pag-unlad sa rehiyon.
“Then as now, we remain firm in defending our sovereignty, our sovereign rights, our jurisdiction. The challenges that we face may be formidable, but equally formidable is our resolve. We will not yield,” ang matigas na pahayag ng Punong Ehekutibo.
Napakahalaga aniya na mabigyang proteksyon ang South China Sea kayat nanawagan siya sa Australia na aktibong makilahok sa pagharap sa lahat ng mga hamon sa rehiyon.
