Alertist Orders laban kay ex-Rep. Arnie Teves inilabas ng BI
Nagpalabas na ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) ng Alertlist Orders laban kay dating Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnolfo “Arnie” A. Teves Jr., ayon sa Department of Justice (DOJ).
Paliwanag ni Justice Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla dahil sa Alertlist Orders limitado na ang paggalaw ni Teves at mapapadali na ang pag-aresto sa kanya.
“Teves cannot escape the long arm of the law,” ani Remulla.
Aniya ang hakbang ng BI ay alinsunod sa warrant of arrest na inisyu naman ng korte noon pang Setyembre gayundin sa Blue Notice ng International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) Blue Notice na inilathala noon lamang nakaarang Lunes.
“These orders direct all BI officers to promptly report any information regarding Teves’ entry, exit, or attempted entry/exit to the Philippine National Police (PNP) or the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI),” ayon sa DOJ.
Magugunita na iniuugnay sa Teves sa pagpatay kay Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo noong nakaraang Marso 4 sa bayan ng Pamplona, sa nasabing lalawigan na nagresulta sa pagkamatay ng siyam pang sibilyan.
Nasa Estados Unidos si Teves nang maganap ang pagpatay.
