150,000 Pinoy workers sa Taiwan makikinabang sa multiple entry visa

Inanunsiyo ng Taiwan immigration office na maaring mag-apply para sa multiple entry visa ang mga banyagang manggagawa, kabilang ang mga Filipino, para sila ay makapag-labas at pasok, pagbabahagi  ng Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO)

Sa ulat kay MECO chairman Silvestre H. Bello III, sinabi ni Director David Des Dicang ng Migrant Workers Office sa  Kaohsiung higit 150,000 overseas Filipino workers sa  Taiwan ang maaring makinabang sa naturang bagong polisiya.

“We are very pleased with this latest development that will ease the burden on our OFWs. This means savings in terms of time and money in the processing of travel documents to Taiwan for our workers,” ani Bello.

Paliwanag naman ni Dicang na tatlong linggo bago ang pagbabakasyon ng OFW ay dapat ay sabihan nila nila sa kanilang broker para may sapat na panahon na mapalitan ang kanilang R.O.C  (Taiwan) Resident Certificate (ARC) para sa kanilang  mutiple re-entry visa.

“Such reentry permit is for multiple uses, and its validity period shall not exceed the validity period of the ARC,” aniya.

Paalala lang din ng ospital na iwasan ang “extension” sa bakasyon dahil maaring markahan sila na Absence Without Leave (AWOL) na maaring humantong sa kanselasyon ng kanilang  work permit / ARC at hindi na sila muling makakapasok sa Taiwan.
