19 cooperatives sa bansa binigyan pagkilala ng Villar Foundation
Pinarangalan ng Villar Foundation 19 cooperatives at community enterprises dahil sa natatanging mga programa para sa mabawasan ang kahirapan noong nakalipas na taon.
Binigyang pagkilala ni Sen. Cynthia Villar ang mga ito bilang modelo poverty alleviation sa hanay ng kanilang mga miyembro, gayundin sa kanilang komunidad.
Sinamahan si Villar nina dating Senate President Manny Villar, House Deputy Speaker Camille Villar, Sen. Mark Villar at Vistaland CEO Paolo Villar sa pagbibigay parangal sa mga kooperatiba.
Tumanggap ng tig-P250, 000 ang bawat kooperatiba mula sa Villar Foundation at ang special awardees naman ay binigyan ng tig- P150,000.
Umabot sa 108 kooperatiba ang nakibahagi at napili ang 28 bago napili ang 19 final awardees at tatlo ang nabigyan ng special awards sa 11th Villar Awards Outstanding Cooperatives.
