Ayuda para sa mga uuwing Filipino mula Israel pinatitiyak ni Pangulong Marcos

Inatasan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang ibat ibang tanggapan ng pamahalaan na ihanda ang ayuda para sa mga Filipino uuwi sa bansa dahil sa gulo sa Israel.

Sa ngayon, 92 na Filipino mula sa Gaza Strip ang nais nang umuwi sa Pilipinas.

Ayon kay Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega, pinatitiyak ni Pangulong Marcos na may livelihood assistance ang mga ito.

“The President also directed relevant agencies to prepare for, of course, the reintegration of the Filipinos when they come home which is a standard every time we repatriate Filipinos. And, of course, that includes the receipt of ayuda, financial assistance,” pahayag ni de Vega.

Maaring kunin ang pondo sa Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) at Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Magbibigay din ng tulong ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) mula sa programang Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS)  at education assistance para sa mga anak ng overseas Filipino workers.

Sabi ni de Vega, magpapadala ang embahada ng Pilipinas sa Cairo ng team sa border ng Gaza Strip para ayusin ang pagpapauwi sa mga Filipino. Gagawin aniya ito oras na mabuksan na ang humanitarian corridors.

“We are providing them funding to be able to rent transportation to bring them from the border to Cairo and to fly them to the Philippines, itong 92,” pahayag ni de Vega.

Inatasan din ni Pangulong Marcos ang Department of Foreign Affairs na hanapin ang tatlong Filipino na nawawala at tulungang makalabas ng Gaza.
