Suspension order sa mga DBM officials na dawit sa overpriced na laptop, ipinatupad na
Ipinatupad na ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman ang suspension order laban sa 12 opisyal na sangkot sa pagbili ng overprice na mga laptop na ipinamahagi ng Department of Education.
Tiniyak din ni Pangandaman sa publiko na ipatutupad nito ang desisyon ng Office of the Ombudsman laban sa mga dating opisyal ng Procurement Service (PS) at DBM.

- Lloyd Christopher Lao, dating Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) chief
- Salvador Malana III, dating DepEd assistant secretary
- Abram Abanil, director ng DepEd information and communications technology services; ad hoc member ng special bids and awards committee for the “Laptop for Teachers” project
- Jasonmer Uayan, dating PS-DBM chief
- Ulysses Mora, PS-DBM procurement management officer
- Marwan Amil, PS-DBM procurement management officer
- Alec Ladanga, executive assistant sa Sevilla’s office
- Marcelo Bragado, director sa DepEd’s procurement management office
- Selwyn Briones, DepEd employee
- Paul Armand Estrada, PS-DBM procurement management officer
Matatandaang noong Agosto 2022, nauna na ring humiling si PS-DBM Executive Director Santiago sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na magsagawa ng hiwalay na imbestigasyon upang matukoy kung may iregularidad na naganap patungkol sa kontrobersyal na kontrata para sa pagbili ng mga laptop ng DepEd.
Ang hakbang na ito ay naaayon sa direktiba ni Secretary Pangandaman na paigtingin ang reporma, integridad, at itaas ang pamantayan ng transparency sa pamamahala sa loob ng PS-DBM, upang masiguro na magiging fair, objective, at hindi magiging impartial, o maiimpluwensyahan ng anumang bias ang magiging imbestigasyon kaugnay ng kontrata.
