Nagbuga ng makapal na abo ang Mt. Bulusan sa Sorsogon, Huwebes ng umaga.
Ayon kay Phivolcs Director Renato Solidum, malakas at makapal ang usok ang ibinuga ng bulkan na may kasamang makapal na abo.
Sa inilabas na advisory ng Phivolcs, naganap ang pagbuga ng usok at abo sa pagitan ng alas 9:00 ng umaga hanggang alas 9:18 ng umaga.
“Bulusan Volcano exhibited vigorous steaming activity characterized by dirty white plumes that crept downslope towards the west-northwest direction,” ayon sa abiso.
Sinabi ni Solidum na normal ang pagbubuga ng usok at abo ng bulkan dahil patuloy ang pagkilo ng tubig sa loob nito.
Nananatiling nasa alert level 1 ang bulkang Bulusan.
Ibig sabihin, mahigpit pa ring ipinagbabawal ang pagpasok sa loob ng 4-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) ng bulkan.
