Zubiri ibinida ang mga nagawa ng Senado sa 1st Regular Session ng 19th Congress
Isinalarawan ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri na matagumpay sa bahagi ng Senado ang First Regular Session ng 19th Congress.
Aniya maraming nabalangkas na mga panukala ang Senado, anim ang naging ganap na batas.
Sinabi pa ni Zubiri na may 22 panukala ang hinihintay na lamang ang pirma ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. at may dalawang panukala ang nakabinbin sa bicameral conference committee at anim ang naaprubahan na sa third and final reading.
“A highlight among our accomplishments is our approval of eight of the priority measures of the administration,” aniya.
Ang tatlong panukala na naging batas ay ang SIM Registration Act, the Act Postponing the Barangay Elections, at ang
AFP Fixed Term Law.
Samantala, pirma na lamang ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang kailangan at magiging ganap na batas na rin ang Condonation of Unpaid Amortization and Interests on Loans of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries, ang Regional Specialty Centers Act, ang Extension of the Estate Tax Amnesty Act, atang Maharlika Investment Fund Act.
“While this scoreboard shows the quantity of our output, it does not describe the quality of each of these measures,” sambit pa ni Zubiri.
