Magbibigay ang Asian Development Bank (ADB) ng US$4 bilyon para sa socio-economic agenda at iba pang proyektong imprastakturang ng Pilipinas.
Ayon kay ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa, ang US$4 bilyon na pondo ay para ngayong taon lamang.
“This 2023 alone, we expect to provide up to US$4 billion to support the government’s Socio-Economic Agenda and the Build Better More infrastructure development program,” sabi ni Asakawa kay Pangulong Marcos Jr.
“This includes preparation of several transformative projects such as the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge Project, the Davao Public Transport Modernization Project, and the Integrated Floor Resilience and Adaptation Project,” dagdag pa nito.
Ayon kay Asakawa, apat na beses na dinagdagan ng ADB ang financing sa Pilipinas kung saan umabot na sa US$12.7 bilyon ang ayuda mula noong 2018 hanggang 2022.
