Paliwanag ng PAGASA, ang heat index sa pagitan ng 42℃ at 51℃ ay ikinukunsidera ng “dangerous,” na maaring magdulot ng heat cramps at heat exhaustion.
Ang mga ganitong kondisyon ay maaring humantong sa heat stroke.
Naitala noong Marso 25 ang pinakamataas na heat index na 47℃ sa San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
