8,163 litro ng oily water mixture nakolekta ng PCG sa Oriental mindoro oil spill
Umabot na sa 8,163 litro ng oily water mixture at 98 sako ng oil-contaminated materials ang nakolekta ng Philippine Coast Guard sa offshore oil response sa Oriental Mindoro at mga kalapit na lugar.
Ayon sa PCG, para sa shoreline response, nakakolekta naman ang PCG ng 154 sako ng oil-contaminated materials, 3,155 sako at 22 drums ng waste collected mula sa 13 affected barangays sa Naujan, Bulalacao, at Pola, Oriental Mindoro.
Nakolekta ito ng PCG mula Marso 1 hanggang 24.
Matatandaang lumubog ang MT Princess Empress sa Oriental Mindoro noong Pebrero 28.
Karga ng lumubog na barko ang 800,000 litro ng fuel.
