Inaasahan na magtataas ng presyo ang mga produktong petrolyo simula bukas, araw ng Martes.
Ang diesel ay madadagdagan ang presyo ng kada litro ng P0.70 hanggang P0.80, samantalang P0.50 – P0.60 naman sa gasolina.
“Based on the four days of trading in the international oil market, it appears that there is a looming increase in the prices of petroleum products like gasoline, diesel and kerosene,” ani Department of Energy (DOE) Oil Industry Management Bureau assistant director Rodela Romero.
Ayon kay Romero, maaring hindi naman tumaas sa P0.50 ang madadahgdagn sa halaga ng kada litro ng kerosene.
Dagdag pa nito ang pangunahing dahilan ng paggalaw sa halaga ng langis sa pandaigdigang pamilihan ay ang plano ng Russia na magbawas ng produksyon sa krudo at ang pagtaas ng forecast sa pangangailangan ng langis ng International Energy Agency.
