Villar SIPAG tumanggap ng pagkilala mula sa DENR
Binigyan ng pagkilala ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources- National Capital Region (DENR-NCR)\ ang Villar SIPAG Foundation ng pamilya nina dating Senate President Manny Villar at Senator Cynthia Villar.
Sa pamamagitan ng Plague of Appreciation, kinilala ng DENR ang mga proyekto at programa ng Villar SIPAG na mapangalagaan ang kalikasan at kapaligiran.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa DENR-NCR Stakeholders and Partners Forum na may temang “Environmental Partnership for a Sustainable Future,” ibinahagi ni Villar kung paano nagsisilbing daan ang Villar SIPAG sa kanyang mga pang-kalikasan na programa at proyekto.
Binanggit nito ang “Sagip Ilog Para Sa Kinabukasan,” at ang pangangalaga sa Las Piñas Parañaque Wetland Park (LPPWP).
Ipinagmalaki nito na ang kanilang Las Piñas-Zapote River System Rehabilitation ay nanalo ng United Nation’s Water for Life Best Practices Award noong 2011.
At noon lamang Nobyembre ay kabilang ang Villar SIPAG sa mga nagwagi sa 23rd Energy Globe Award at kamakailan lamang ay tumanggap 2022 Energy Globe National Honorary Certificate Award dahil sa kanilang Las Piñas Kitchen Waste Composting Program.
