Pangulong Marcos matabang sa Cha-cha

Wala sa prayoridad ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong Marcos Jr. na amyendahan ang 1987 Constitution o ang Charter Change.

Sa panayam ng Philippine Media Delegation kay Pangulong Marcos habang pauwi sa Pilipinas mula sa Japan, sinabi nito na maraming kailangang gawin bago atupagin ang pagbabago ng Konstitusyon.

“It’s not a priority for me because maraming ibang kailangang gawin eh. Maraming kailangan – there are so many different – there are so many other things that we need to do first that we can still – we can achieve kung makukuha naman natin ‘yung gusto but within the present – the present constitutional – the way the constitution is written,” pahayag ng Pangulo.

Paliwanag ng Pangulo, kaya napag-uusapan ang pagbabago ng Konstitusyon dahil sa usaping pang-eknomiya.

“So we – I think the attempt is – the reason that it’s being talked about is because of the economic provisions. Gusto nga natin magkaroon ng investment kung minsan sagabal ‘yun. Alam naman ninyo ‘yung mga issue diyan, ‘yung mga ownership, appropriation, ownership [inaudible] ‘yung mga ganoon. But for me, lahat itong mga pinag-usapan kaya nating gawin na hindi palitan ang Saligang Batas,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Nagtungo ang Pangulo sa Japan para hikayatin ang mga Japanese businessmen na maglagak ng negosyo sa bansa.

Idiniga ng Pangulo ang liberation reforms sa foreign investment.
