P1.7M halaga ng shabu isiniksik sa telepono galing France

Nasabat ng mga ahente ng Bureao of Customs – Port of NAIA ang higit P1.74 milyong halaga ng shabu.

Sa ulat, isiniksik sa isang antigong telepono ang 255 gramo ng shabu, bago inilagay sa isang parcel sa pamamagitan ng DHL.

Nabatid na dumating sa Pilipinas ang parcel noong Enero 30 at nakumpirma na sa lab test ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) na shabu ang nadiskubre puting ‘crystalline substance.’

Inaresto din agad ang tumanggap ng parcel sa ikinasang controlled delivery operation sa Makati City.

Sasampahan ng mga kasong paglabag sa Anti-Illegal Drugs Act at Customs Modernization Act at hindi na kinilalang inarestong indibiduwal.
