Speaker Romualdez: Maraming Filipino ang makikinabang sa Japan trip ni PBBM
Tokyo, Japan—Tip of the iceberg lamang ang mga nakuhang investment ni Pangulong Marcos sa limang araw na working visit dito.
Ito ay ayon kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez, at aniya mas marami pa kasing negosyante ang nahikayat na mamuhunan sa Pilipinas.
“But that’s only the tip of the iceberg… but there’s an offshoot of this, marami pa yan eh marami pa nangyayari off-camera, so to speak, or on the sidelines,” pahayag ni Romualdez sa panayam ng Philippine media delegation.
Tinukoy pa ni Romualdez ang 115 na Filipinong negosyante na bitbit ng Pangulo sa Japan.
“Ang daming dumating na businesssmen dito, at nakikita ito ng mga Hapon na very, very open ang Pilipinas,” pahayag ng Romualdez.
Sabi ni Romualdez, tiyak na maraming Filipino ang makikinabang sa biyahe ng Pangulo.
“These discussions really redound to the benefit of the Filipino people, through the improvement of the economy, through investments, expansions of business, explorations to new areas and fields, the clarifications of whatever issues the businessmen have brought forth,” pahayag pa nito.
