Poe hiningi ang paliwanag ng DOTr sa beep card shortage
Sinabi ni Senator Grace Poe na dapat ay ipaliwanag ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang kakapusan ng beep cards na gamit ng mga pasahero sa mass rail transport.
Ayon kay Poe, nasasayang ang mahalagang oras ng mga pasahero sa pagpila sa pagkuha ng single-journey ticket.
Dapat din aniya ipaliwanag ang online bentahan ng beep cards sa napakataas na presyo.
‘The lack of beep cards is a step backward to our goal to digitize our transportation payment scheme as a safer and convenient mode,” ani Poe.
Paalala niya, pinaglaanan ng bilyong-bilyong piso ang modernisasyon ng railway system at makatuwiran lang na maramdaman ng sambayanan ang bunga ng mga ibinabayad nilang buwis.
