San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora bagong mamumuno sa MMC

Inihalal ng mga kapwa mayor sa Metro Manila si San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora bilang bagong pinuno ng Metro Manila Council (MMC) noong nakaraang Sabado.

Bukod dito, nahalal din ang second-termer mayor bilang co-chairperson ng National Capital Region Development Council (NCRDC).

Ayon kay Zamora, magiging sentro ng atensyon ng kanyang pamumuno ang pag-unlad ng Kalakhang Maynila, trapiko, peace and order kasabay na rin ng inaasahang normalisasyon ng sitwasyon dulot ng pandemya.

Nabanggit nito na isusulong niya ang pag-apruba sa MMC ng Single Ticketing System sa 17 lokal na pamahalaan sa Kalakhang Maynila sa pag-asa na makakatulong ito sa pagpapaluwag ng trapiko.

Nagsisilbing ‘policy making body’ ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
