DFA, DMW pinakikilos ni Sen. Joel Villanueva sa Istanbul bombing
Hiniling ni Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) na agad alamin kung may Filipino na nadamay sa pambobombang nangyari sa Istanbul, Turkey.
Ayon kay Villanueva dapat ang agarang pagkilos ng dalawang kagawaran para matiyak ang kaligtasan at kalagayan ng mga Filipino na nasa Istanbul.
“If this is confirmed to be an act of terrorism, then the agencies should remain vigilant and be prepared to attend to the safety of Filipinos in Istanbul,” sabi pa ng senador.
Sa mga naglabasang ulat, anim ang kumpirmadong nasawi at higit 80 ang nasugatan sa pagsabog sa Istiklal Avenue, isang shopping district sa Istanbul.
Kasabay nito, nagpahatid na rin ng kanyang pakikiramay si Villanueva sa mga biktima.
