South China Sea hindi dapat na maging sentro ng gulo ayon kay Pangulong Marcos
Ayaw ng mga lider sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations ng gulo sa South China Sea.
Ayon kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., malinaw ang paninindigan ng Asean leaders na walang puwang ang gulo at dapat na sumunod ang lahat maging ang China sa United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea at international law.
Ginawa ng Pangulo ang pahayag sa Asean Summit na ginanap sa Cambodia.
“We must ensure that the South China Sea remains a sea of peace, a sea of security and stability, and of prosperity,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Ito na ang ikalawang beses na tinalakay ng Pangulo sa Asean summit ang usapin sa South China Sea.
Kung tutuusin ayon sa Pangulo, dapat na magsilbing koneksyon ang usapin sa South China Sea para sa malakas na economic engagement at interaksyon at hindi maging sentro ng gulo.
